Nifty below 24,450, Sensex down 139 pts; mid, smallcap outshine. Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Auto, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Bank, Tata Consumer were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers included M&M, Sun Pharma, Eicher Motors, Power Grid Corp and L&T. BSE Midcap index up 0.5 percent and Smallcap indices up 1 percent. Among sectors, IT index up more than 2 percent, while capital goods, power, pharma down 1 percent each.
