We use to bye fresh turmeric plants for Pongal ..This video shows how to prepare turmeric Powder..We can use this for cooking, facepack ..
Cut turmeric as shown.. Slice them finely.Add water and cook for 1 whistle.
Strain water and dry in sunlight for 4,5 days .
Grind in mixi .
